American Studies program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the historical, cultural, political, and social development of the United States. Over four years, students explore topics such as American history, government, literature, and social movements, developing analytical, research, and critical thinking skills. The curriculum integrates interdisciplinary approaches from history, political science, literature, and sociology, enabling students to examine complex historical and contemporary issues while understanding the evolution of American society.
Students participate in research projects, archival studies, and community engagement, gaining practical experience in historical analysis, interpretation, and presentation. The program encourages independent research, academic writing, and applied skills that prepare students to understand and communicate historical knowledge effectively. Graduates leave the program with strong analytical abilities, historical insight, and the skills needed to pursue careers in education, research, public service, and cultural institutions.
