The Master’s in Aquatic Ecology is a two-year, full-time on-campus programme within Ecology that focuses on freshwater and marine ecosystems, aquatic biodiversity, and environmental processes in water systems. The programme explores ecological interactions in lakes, rivers, and coastal environments, as well as the impact of human activity on aquatic ecosystems.
With a strong ecological focus, students develop expertise in ecosystem analysis, aquatic environmental monitoring, and ecological research methods used in conservation and environmental management. Linnaeus University provides a research-driven environment that prepares graduates for careers in aquatic ecosystem management, environmental research, and nature conservation within both public and private environmental sectors.
