The Archaeology and Heritage of Asia program at University College London (UCL) is a one-year, full-time Master of Arts (MA) degree that focuses on the rich and diverse archaeological and cultural heritage of Asia. This program explores the ancient civilizations, historical landscapes, and material culture of Asia, emphasizing both the study of archaeological sites and the preservation of cultural heritage. Students will examine key archaeological periods, heritage conservation practices, and the contemporary challenges faced by heritage management in Asia.
UCL’s program combines in-depth historical and archaeological knowledge with practical skills in heritage preservation. Graduates will be equipped to engage with the preservation of Asian heritage, conducting research and working in international heritage organizations, museums, and archaeological sites across the region.
