
The Master of Arts in Assyriology is a one-year, full-time on-campus program that provides a deep exploration of the languages, history, and culture of ancient Mesopotamia. The program covers topics such as Sumerian and Akkadian languages, ancient Mesopotamian texts, and the archaeological study of ancient cities. Students will engage with primary sources, including cuneiform tablets, and gain a comprehensive understanding of the civilization's contributions to history.
Graduates will be well-prepared for careers in archaeology, museum curation, and ancient language studies.
