Civil Engineering (English) UOLP

About

The Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (English) UOLP is an international dual-degree program run by Istanbul Technical University (İTÜ) and University at Buffalo (SUNY), offering a global education for ambitious engineering students. In this program, students spend part of their education in Istanbul and part in Buffalo, USA. They learn how to design and build structures such as buildings, bridges, tunnels, roads, water systems, and large infrastructures. The curriculum combines core engineering science (mathematics, mechanics, materials) with modern civil engineering practices — structural design, geotechnics, hydraulics, infrastructure planning — giving students strong knowledge to build safe and long-lasting structures.

Because the program is international and taught in English, students also gain global perspective and cross-cultural experience. They use modern labs and engineering tools, do projects, and follow both Turkish and American engineering standards. Studying in two different countries helps students understand diverse construction practices and regulations. With dual diplomas from both İTÜ and University at Buffalo, this program opens doors not only in Turkey but around the world.
