Classical Languages program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of ancient languages, literature, and cultures, focusing on Latin, Ancient Greek, and their historical contexts. Over four years, students explore classical texts, linguistics, translation, history, and philosophy, developing strong analytical, interpretive, and research skills. The curriculum combines rigorous language training with cultural and historical studies, enabling students to read, translate, and analyze classical texts while gaining insight into the civilizations that shaped Western thought. Students also engage in research projects, textual analysis, and applied studies that strengthen their linguistic and cultural expertise.
Students participate in intensive language practice, literature seminars, historical analysis, and collaborative research, gaining practical experience in translation, textual interpretation, and classical scholarship. The program emphasizes language mastery, critical thinking, and cultural literacy, preparing graduates for careers in education, research, museum curation, publishing, and academia.
