

The Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Classics at the University of Manchester is a three-year, full-time program that provides students with a deep understanding of the ancient civilizations of Greece and Rome, as well as the broader Mediterranean world. Students will study classical literature, philosophy, history, archaeology, and art, gaining insight into the political, cultural, and social dynamics that shaped ancient societies. The program covers a wide range of topics, from epic poetry to the political thought of ancient philosophers, and the study of ancient languages like Latin and Ancient Greek.

Many graduates continue their studies with postgraduate degrees in areas such as ancient history, archaeology, or philosophy.
