The Master of Science in Cognitive Neuroscience – Perception, Action and Decision-making (Research) at Radboud University Nijmegen is a two-year, full-time on-campus program that investigates how the brain processes perception, guides action, and supports decision-making. The program combines experimental research, computational modeling, and neuroimaging techniques to explore cognitive mechanisms underlying behavior. Students engage in independent research projects to gain practical experience in designing and analyzing studies in neuroscience.
Graduates develop neurocognitive research and experimental design skills, preparing for careers in neuroscience research, neurotechnology development, biomedical innovation, and PhD programs. With its interdisciplinary and research-intensive approach, Radboud University Nijmegen equips students to advance understanding of brain function and its applications in health, technology, and society.
Semester 1 – Foundations in Cognitive Neuroscience
Semester 2 – Advanced Cognitive Neuroscience
Semester 3 – Specialization in Cognitive Neuroscience
Semester 4 – Master’s Thesis & Research Project
Graduates of the Cognitive Neuroscience - Perception, Action and Decision-making (Research) Master’s program are in demand in fields such as neuroscience research, cognitive psychology, and clinical neuroscience. With expertise in perception, action processes, and decision-making mechanisms, graduates can pursue careers as cognitive neuroscientists, research psychologists, clinical researchers, or neuropsychologists. The increasing focus on understanding brain function ensures strong career prospects in both academic and healthcare settings.
Cognitive Neuroscience - Perception, Action and Decision-making (Research) program focuses on the neuroscience of perception, action, and decision-making. Students will engage in cutting-edge research to understand how the brain processes information, makes decisions, and guides behavior. The program prepares graduates for research roles in cognitive neuroscience, neuropsychology, and clinical settings, equipping them with the skills to contribute to the understanding of brain function and its impact on behavior.
