Electronics and Communication Engineering

About

The Electronics and Communication Engineering programme at Istanbul Technical University is a four-year English-medium bachelor’s degree for students interested in electronics, communication systems, signal processing and telecommunications engineering. The programme gives a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, circuits and programming in first years. Later, students study electronics, digital systems, communication theory, wireless networks and modern communication technologies. With labs, projects and theoretical courses, students learn how to design electronic circuits, build communication systems and understand data transmission and networks.

Being in Istanbul gives students many opportunities to connect with technology companies, research institutions and telecommunication firms. The programme includes laboratory work, simulation courses and design projects. Students practice building and testing circuits, working on communication systems and learning modern tools. This education helps students develop technical skills, creativity and problem solving. Graduates are ready for a career in electronics, communications, network design or further academic studies in engineering.
