

The Master of Science in Environmental Management at Kiel University is an international, interdisciplinary graduate program that trains students to address the complex challenges of environmental protection, sustainable resource use, and global change. This four-semester program, available full-time or part-time, focuses on the integration of ecological, economic, and social sciences to develop effective strategies for managing natural resources and ecosystems. The program is offered in English and begins exclusively in the winter semester.
Situated in the coastal city of Kiel, the program benefits from close collaboration with partner universities such as Irkutsk State University (Russia) and Adam Mickiewicz University (Poland), enabling students to obtain an international double degree. With access to over 250 Erasmus+ and global cooperation agreements, students gain valuable international experience through fieldwork, research exchanges, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
