The Finnish and Hungarian Language Studies program at University College London (UCL) is a four-year, full-time course that allows students to become proficient in both Finnish and Hungarian, while exploring the linguistic, literary, and cultural traditions of these two unique languages. This program offers an in-depth understanding of the societies and histories of Finland and Hungary.
UCL’s program combines language acquisition with comprehensive cultural studies, preparing graduates for careers in translation, international relations, cultural diplomacy, and academic research.
The first two years focus on intensive language training in both Finnish and Hungarian, covering grammar, vocabulary, and language structure.
