

The Bachelor of Arts in Gender and Women’s Studies is a four year interdisciplinary program designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of gender, sexuality, and social justice. The curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, intersectional analysis, research methodology, and cultural literacy, enabling students to examine the social, political, and economic forces that shape gendered experiences across diverse societies. Through lectures, seminars, and applied projects, students develop the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to analyze social inequalities, challenge systemic discrimination, and promote equity and inclusion in multiple social contexts.
Students gain extensive experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods, policy analysis, feminist theory, and community engagement, strengthening analytical reasoning, research skills, advocacy abilities, and communication proficiency. The program integrates core courses in feminist theory, gender studies, and social analysis with electives that allow students to specialize in areas such as sexuality studies, public policy, media representation, or global gender issues. By combining academic study with applied research and practical experience, graduates acquire the skills necessary to pursue careers in advocacy, education, public policy, social research, or continue into graduate studies in gender studies, sociology, or related fields
