The Master of Science in Geographical Information Science (Geography) is a two-year, full-time online program that focuses on the theory and application of geospatial technologies and spatial data analysis. The program covers key areas such as geographic information systems (GIS), spatial data modeling, remote sensing, and geostatistics. Students develop a strong understanding of how spatial data is collected, analyzed, and used to solve real-world environmental, urban, and societal challenges.
Graduates are well-prepared for careers in GIS analysis, spatial data science, and geoinformatics applications within government agencies, environmental organizations, research institutions, and private sector companies. The program emphasizes strong geospatial analysis and spatial data modeling, equipping students with the technical and analytical skills needed to interpret complex spatial information and support data-driven decision-making.
