The Master of Science in Global Health at the University of Southampton focuses on the major health challenges that affect populations worldwide. This one-year, full-time program examines global health issues such as infectious diseases, health disparities, environmental health, and health systems management. Students will develop a deep understanding of how social, economic, and political factors influence global health outcomes and learn strategies to improve health equity worldwide.
On-campus learning includes access to global health research projects, policy development workshops, and case studies of health interventions. Graduates are prepared for careers in international health organizations, public health agencies, and NGOs, where they can contribute to improving global health systems and policies.

Graduates of the Master of Science in Global Health are equipped for careers in international health organizations, research institutions, and public health agencies. Opportunities exist in international health organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), government agencies, and healthcare institutions, focusing on global health security, disease prevention, and health policy development.
