The Health Behavior and Health Education program provides an interdisciplinary and applied study of health promotion, behavioral science, and educational strategies for improving public health. Over two years, students explore theories of health behavior, program planning, community interventions, and research methodology, integrating both practical and research-based approaches. The curriculum emphasizes analytical thinking, program evaluation, and evidence-based decision-making, enabling learners to design and implement effective health programs that address behavioral and social determinants of health. Through seminars, fieldwork, and applied projects, students gain the expertise necessary to advance community health initiatives and educational programs.
Students also participate in program development, evaluation studies, and collaborative research projects, fostering both practical and professional competencies.
