Industrial Design

About

The Master of Arts in Industrial Design is a two year full time program designed for students who want to develop advanced skills in product design, innovation, and creative problem solving. The curriculum combines theoretical study with intensive studio work, enabling learners to explore materials, design processes, and user centered approaches while developing practical design solutions. Students gain expertise in product development, design thinking, materials and fabrication, and visual communication, equipping them to create innovative designs and contribute to industrial and commercial design projects. The program emphasizes both conceptual development and applied practice, preparing graduates to work as professional designers, design strategists, or consultants.

The program encourages interdisciplinary learning by integrating design with engineering, technology, and human factors. Students engage in studio projects, collaborative workshops, research initiatives, and portfolio development guided by experienced faculty. Access to design labs, prototyping facilities, and industry networks enhances both practical skills and conceptual understanding. By the end of the program, graduates develop competencies in creative problem solving, prototype development, user centered design, and professional presentation, positioning them for careers in industrial design, product innovation, and creative industries.
