The Interior Architecture (KKTC) program at İstanbul Technical University – KKTC Education & Research Campus is designed to combine artistic design, spatial thinking, and technical knowledge. Students learn how to design and shape interior spaces — housing, offices, commercial areas or public buildings — keeping functionality, aesthetics and human comfort in mind. The curriculum includes design studios, drawing and computer-aided design, building technology, materials and structural basics, and interior layout planning. You also study space planning, light and material usage, and ergonomic design. The program gives both creative and technical skills, helping students think like designers but also work with real building systems and construction rules.
Because the program is taught in English and located at KKTC campus, you get a unique international environment. You work on design projects, practical assignments and real-world interior architecture cases — which helps you develop both creative vision and technical competence. You also gain a broader perspective on space, environment and comfort — useful for modern architecture and interior design. If you’re interested in design, living spaces, function and style, and want to create interior environments that people enjoy and live in — this program gives a solid base.

With ability to combine design, technical building knowledge and English proficiency, graduates are also prepared for international careers or projects abroad.
Choosing Interior Architecture at ITU-KKTC gives you the chance to learn design, functionality and building technology together — not just how a space looks, but also how it works. You develop creative thinking and technical skills, which help you make places comfortable, beautiful and usable. Projects and design studios give real experience, and English instruction prepares you for international work. This mix gives you both artistic freedom and professional competence.
This program also opens many career paths because everyone needs well-designed interiors — homes, offices, public buildings. You can design spaces in many sectors: residential, hospitality, corporate, retail, restoration or renovation. If you love design, spaces, people and want a flexible and creative yet stable engineering–design career, this program offers a strong and meaningful start.
