

The International Foundation in Humanities and Social Sciences - Global Social Challenges at the University of Manchester is a nine-month, full-time pre-bachelor program that prepares students to address some of the most pressing social challenges of our time. The program covers topics such as poverty, inequality, climate change, migration, and human rights, while developing the research, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills necessary to understand and address global social issues.
Graduates of this program will be well-equipped for further study in sociology, international development, or public policy, and will be prepared to pursue careers in NGOs, governmental organizations, or social research, where they can contribute to creating solutions for global challenges.

Graduates of the International Foundation in Humanities and Social Sciences – Global Social Challenges program are well-prepared for undergraduate studies in sociology, global studies, social policy, and international development.
