The Accelerated Law Program (LLB) at the University of Southampton is a two-year, full-time program designed for students who already hold an undergraduate degree in another field and want to pursue a career in law. The program provides an intensive study of core legal principles, including contract law, constitutional law, criminal law, and tort law, while also focusing on developing practical legal skills.
On-campus learning includes legal research, case studies, and practical experience through simulated legal practice. Graduates are well-prepared for the legal practice course (LPC) or bar professional training course (BPTC), as well as qualifying as solicitors, barristers, or pursuing roles in legal consultancy, corporate law, or government.
