

The Master of Laws in International Migration and Refugee Law at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) is a one-year, full-time on-campus program that focuses on the legal aspects of migration, asylum, and refugee protection in a global context. The program explores international legal frameworks, human rights law, and policy responses to migration and displacement. Students examine topics such as refugee status determination, international humanitarian law, border management, and the rights of migrants, while critically analyzing the challenges facing governments and international organizations in addressing migration crises.
