Marine Machinery Operations Engineering (KKTC)

About

The Bachelor of Science in Marine Machinery Operations Engineering (KKTC) at İstanbul Technical University – KKTC Education & Research Campus aims to train engineers who operate, manage and maintain marine engines, machinery systems and ship operations. In this program, students learn about marine engines, propulsion systems, ship maintenance, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, control systems, and safety at sea. They also study mathematics, physics and basic engineering sciences to build a strong foundation. The curriculum combines theory with practical training — students use simulation tools, study real-life machinery systems, perform maintenance practices and learn marine regulations.

With this knowledge, students become ready to work on ships, in shipping companies or in marine maintenance and design firms. Studying at KKTC campus gives students the opportunity to learn in an international environment with a focus on maritime engineering. Through English-taught courses and marine-oriented labs, students gain both technical competence and global perspective. The program prepares graduates to work in international marine and shipping industries. If you like ships, engines, engineering and sea-based work, this program offers a solid foundation to build a marine career.
