Mechanical Engineering

About

The Mechanical Engineering (English) program at Marmara University is a four-year undergraduate degree taught fully in English. The program trains students to design, build and analyze machines and mechanical systems used in many areas — from engines and renewable energy systems to manufacturing and robotics. Students learn mathematics, physics, materials science, and mechanical engineering fundamentals, and also gain skills in design, dynamics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and manufacturing. Through both theoretical courses and practical labs, the program gives students the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to become capable engineers.

Located in Istanbul, a big city with lots of industry and technological development, this program gives students chances to connect what they learn with real-world applications. With modern laboratories, experienced academic staff, and English-language instruction, students are prepared to work both in Turkey and internationally. The program supports creative thinking, problem-solving, and engineering skills that modern mechanical engineers need. It is a good choice for students who are curious about machines, design, mechanics or production and want an engineering career with many options.
