
The Master’s Programme in Modern History is a two-year, full-time on-campus program that focuses on the political, social, cultural, and economic developments that have shaped the modern world from the late early modern period to the present. The program emphasizes critical analysis of historical processes such as industrialization, globalization, revolutions, and state formation, using a variety of historical sources and research methods. Students study topics such as modern European and global history, historiography, archival research, and historical theory.
