
The Master of Science in Nationalism, Ethnic Conflict and Development is a one-year, full-time on-campus program that explores the complex relationship between nationalism, ethnic identity, and socio-economic development. The program covers topics such as ethnic conflict, state-building, post-conflict reconstruction, and the role of nationalism in shaping political and social movements. Students will gain an understanding of how ethnicity and nationalism influence global development and conflict dynamics.

This program offers opportunities in NGOs, government agencies, and international organizations focused on conflict and development.
The Nationalism, Ethnic Conflict and Development Master’s program focuses on understanding the causes and consequences of nationalism and ethnic conflict. Students explore topics such as ethnic identity, conflict resolution, and the role of development in peacebuilding. The program prepares graduates to work in international development, peacekeeping, and conflict resolution. Graduates are ready to engage in global efforts to address ethnic tensions and promote development in conflict-affected areas.
