Petroleum Engineering program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the exploration, extraction, and production of oil and gas resources. Over four years, students study reservoir engineering, drilling and production technology, geoscience, fluid mechanics, and energy economics, gaining the technical knowledge and practical skills necessary to optimize hydrocarbon recovery. The curriculum integrates theoretical study with laboratory experiments, fieldwork, and simulation projects, allowing students to apply engineering principles to real-world energy challenges. Students also explore environmental impact, sustainability, and safety regulations, preparing them to manage resources responsibly while addressing global energy demands.
Through hands-on laboratory exercises, field visits, and collaborative engineering projects, students develop practical experience in reservoir modeling, drilling operations, and production management. The program emphasizes problem-solving, technical expertise, and analytical skills, preparing graduates for careers in the oil and gas industry, energy consulting, and resource management. Graduates leave with the ability to design and implement efficient extraction methods, assess reservoir performance, and contribute meaningfully to energy production, sustainability, and technological innovation in the petroleum sector.
Year 1 – Foundations in Petroleum Engineering
Year 2 – Intermediate Petroleum Studies
