The Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies and Public Affairs program provides an interdisciplinary and applied study of public administration, policy development, and regional studies. Over two and a half years, students explore governance systems, political institutions, international relations, and administrative practices in the Russian, East European, and Eurasian context. The curriculum emphasizes analytical thinking, research-based policy evaluation, and effective decision-making, enabling learners to understand complex political, social, and economic systems while developing solutions to real-world administrative challenges. Through research projects, case studies, and fieldwork, students gain the expertise necessary to advance public administration, regional policy, and strategic governance.
Students also engage in collaborative research, applied policy projects, and professional development workshops, fostering both analytical and practical competencies. Mentorship from experienced faculty provides guidance in policy formulation, data analysis, and administrative strategy, preparing students to address regional and global public affairs challenges effectively.
