The Teacher Leadership, Mentoring, and Professional Development program offers an intensive and applied study of educational leadership, instructional strategies, and professional growth. Over one year, students explore leadership theory, mentoring techniques, curriculum development, and educational research while gaining practical skills to guide and support colleagues in diverse educational settings. The curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, collaborative practice, and evidence-based strategies, enabling learners to enhance teaching quality, foster professional development, and implement effective leadership initiatives. Through workshops, case studies, and applied projects, students acquire the skills necessary to become effective teacher leaders and mentors.
Students also participate in classroom observation, coaching exercises, and professional development initiatives, fostering both pedagogical and leadership competencies.
