The Master of Research in Wildlife Conservation at the University of Southampton is designed for students who wish to pursue a research-focused career in the conservation of wildlife and ecosystems. This one-year, full-time program provides students with advanced knowledge in ecological principles, conservation strategies, and the management of endangered species. Students will conduct independent research projects and gain valuable experience in ecological fieldwork and data analysis.
On-campus learning includes research opportunities, field-based studies, and the chance to work on conservation projects with industry experts. Graduates are prepared for careers in environmental consultancy, wildlife management, conservation research, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), where they can contribute to global efforts in preserving biodiversity and protecting endangered species.

Graduates of the Master of Research in Wildlife Conservation are equipped for careers in conservation biology, wildlife management, and environmental policy. Opportunities exist in conservation NGOs, government agencies, research institutions, and wildlife reserves, focusing on species protection, habitat management, and biodiversity conservation.
