

The Master of Science in Youth 0-21 Society and Policy at the University of Groningen is a one-year, full-time, on-campus program that focuses on the development and well-being of young people in contemporary society. This program explores policies and practices affecting children and youth, including education, social services, mental health, and community development. Students will gain an understanding of the social, psychological, and political factors that influence youth, preparing them to design and implement effective policies and programs for young people.
Graduates will be well-prepared for careers in youth policy, social work, and community development. Graduates of the Youth 0-21 Society and Policy Master’s program can work in youth development, social services, and policy advocacy. With expertise in child and adolescent development and public policy, graduates are prepared for roles as youth counselors, social workers, or policy advisors in youth programs. This program provides opportunities in government agencies, NGOs, and educational institutions.
