Bahçeşehir Cyprus University (Bahçeşehir Kıbrıs Üniversitesi), also known as BAU Cyprus, is a private, non-profit foundation university based in Nicosia, on the island of Cyprus. It was founded in 2017 by the Türkiye-based Bahçeşehir Uğur Education Foundation, welcoming its first students in the 2017/2018 academic year. The university is officially recognised by the Turkish Higher Education Council (YÖK), and its programmes are accredited by the Higher Education Planning, Evaluation, Accreditation and Coordination Council (YÖDAK) of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

As part of the international BAU Global education network, the university connects students to partner campuses in cities such as Istanbul, Berlin, Washington, Batumi, Hanoi, Kyiv, Puebla, Brockville, and Toronto. Through these ties, students can spend a summer, a semester, or a longer period studying abroad at another BAU Global institution. Its Cooperative Education Program (CO-OP) bridges academia and industry, giving third- and fourth-year undergraduates access to part-time work, internships, and lectures delivered by sector professionals through a network of some 2,700 national and international partners.
