

TED University was founded in Ankara in 2009 by the Turkish Education Association Higher Education Foundation. This English-medium university consists of five faculties: Education, Engineering, Economics and Administrative Sciences, Arts and Sciences, and Architecture.

Founded by the Turkish Education Association Higher Education Foundation on July 7, 2009, TED University welcomed its first 320 students in the 2012–2013 academic year. The university initially offered undergraduate programs in social sciences, business administration, and engineering.
