AquaH - International Master of Science in Health Management in Aquaculture is a two-year, full-time on-campus Master of Science program that focuses on aquatic animal health and sustainable aquaculture management. The program covers fish pathology, epidemiology, biosecurity, aquatic animal welfare, diagnostics, health management, and sustainable aquaculture systems within an international collaborative framework.
Students gain scientific, clinical, and management skills through laboratory work, field activities, and international research training. Graduates are prepared for careers in aquaculture health management, aquatic veterinary services, fish health consultancy, aquaculture production management, and research and regulatory organizations, supported by Ghent University’s internationally recognized expertise in aquaculture and aquatic health.

Graduates of the AquaH - International Master of Science in Health Management in Aquaculture program can work in aquaculture, aquatic health, biotechnology, and marine industries. With expertise in aquatic disease management, production systems, and sustainable practices, graduates are prepared for careers as aquatic health specialists, research scientists, aquaculture managers, or environmental consultants. The program provides opportunities in research centers, aquaculture companies, and international organizations.
The AquaH - International Master of Science in Health Management in Aquaculture program provides students with specialized knowledge of aquatic health and sustainable aquaculture systems. Students study disease prevention, biological processes, and management strategies through interdisciplinary approaches. The program combines scientific research with practical applications in aquatic industries. Graduates gain the expertise needed to support healthy and sustainable aquatic production.
