

The Asian-Pacific Studies in a Global Context Master of Research is a one-year, full-time on-campus program that provides advanced interdisciplinary training in the political, cultural, economic, and historical dynamics of the Asia-Pacific region. The program focuses on key areas such as regional geopolitics, international relations, cultural studies, and global development processes. Students develop strong research and analytical skills through in-depth engagement with regional case studies and contemporary global issues affecting the Asia-Pacific world.
Graduates will be well-prepared for careers in International Research, Policy Analysis, Diplomacy and Foreign Affairs, and Cultural and Area Studies Expertise across academic institutions, government agencies, international organizations, and think tanks. The program offers a strong research-oriented foundation, enabling students to critically analyze global and regional transformations and contribute to evidence-based policy and scholarly work.
