

The Bachelor of Arts in Celtic Languages and Culture at Utrecht University is a three-year, full-time on-campus program that focuses on the rich history, languages, and cultures of the Celtic-speaking peoples. The program covers a variety of Celtic languages, including Welsh, Irish, and Scottish Gaelic, as well as the literature, history, and cultural heritage of Celtic societies.
Students will develop linguistic proficiency in Celtic languages, alongside a deep understanding of the cultural, historical, and literary traditions of the Celtic world. Graduates will be well-prepared for careers in education, cultural heritage, research, or translation, with the expertise to contribute to the preservation and revitalization of Celtic languages and cultures.

Graduates of the Celtic Languages and Culture Bachelor’s program can work in cultural preservation, education, and research.
