The Master of Science in Erasmus Mundus Master's Degree in Human Diseases Models Morphological Phenotyping (MorphoPHEN) is a one-year, full-time, on-campus program focused on advanced immunology, disease modeling, and morphological phenotyping techniques. The program provides in-depth training in understanding human disease mechanisms through experimental models, combining biomedical research, imaging technologies, and translational science approaches.
Graduates will be well-prepared for careers in biomedical research, molecular pathology, and clinical innovation, as well as positions in academic and international research institutions. The Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) offers a strong interdisciplinary environment with access to cutting-edge laboratories and international research collaborations, enabling students to develop high-level expertise in human disease modeling and immunological research.
Semester 1 – Foundations of Human Diseases Models
Semester 2 – Advanced Human Disease Models
Graduates of the Erasmus Mundus Master's Degree in Human Diseases Models Morphological Phenotyping (MorphoPHEN) program are highly valued in biomedical research, genetics, and disease modeling. With expertise in morphological phenotyping and disease modeling, graduates can pursue roles as biomedical researchers, geneticists, clinical research scientists, or pharmacologists. The growing need for advanced disease models ensures strong career prospects in medical research, pharmaceutical companies, and healthcare institutions.
MorphoPHEN program offers interdisciplinary training in disease modeling, morphological phenotyping, and biomedical research techniques. Students will gain hands-on experience in developing and applying disease models to study human diseases, preparing them for careers in academic and clinical research. The program prepares graduates to contribute to innovative medical research and drug development, equipping them with advanced skills in disease modeling and phenotypic analysis.
