

The Master of Science in European Governance at Utrecht University is a two-year, full-time on-campus program that explores the political, legal, and institutional dynamics of governance within the European Union. The program focuses on understanding the decision-making processes, policies, and regulations that shape European integration, as well as the challenges of governing in a complex, multi-level political system.
Students will gain expertise in European law, policy analysis, and institutional frameworks, while exploring the interaction between European and national governance. Graduates will be well-prepared for careers in EU institutions, international organizations, or policy analysis, equipped to contribute to effective European governance and navigate the complexities of EU policy-making in a global context.

Graduates of the European Governance Master’s program can work in public policy, international relations, and European Union law.
