

The Master of Science in Geographical Information Management and Applications (GIMA) at Utrecht University is a two-year, full-time blended program that combines on-campus and online learning. The program focuses on the management and application of geographic information systems (GIS) to solve complex spatial problems in a variety of fields such as urban planning, environmental management, and disaster response.
Students will gain technical skills in GIS, spatial data analysis, and geospatial technologies, while also developing expertise in how to manage and utilize geographic data for informed decision-making. Graduates will be equipped for careers in GIS consultancy, urban planning, or environmental research, with the skills to apply spatial data solutions to address real-world challenges.
