

The Master of Science in Youth, Education and Society at Utrecht University is a one-year, full-time on-campus program that explores the intersections of youth development, educational practices, and societal issues. The program focuses on understanding how young people navigate education systems, social structures, and cultural influences, with an emphasis on policies and practices that shape youth outcomes.

Graduates of the Youth, Education and Society Master’s program can work in education management, youth development, and social work. With expertise in youth issues, education policy, and societal influences on education, graduates can pursue careers as youth counselors, educational coordinators, or policy advisors. This program provides opportunities in schools, social service organizations, and governmental bodies focused on improving youth education and social inclusion.
