
The Master of Science in Youth Studies at Utrecht University is a one-year, full-time on-campus program that focuses on the development of young people in various social, cultural, and educational contexts. The program examines key issues such as youth identity, education, mental health, and social integration, with an emphasis on understanding how youth navigate modern societal challenges.

Graduates of the Youth Studies Master’s program can work in youth advocacy, social work, and youth education. With expertise in youth development, social policy, and educational strategies, graduates are prepared for roles as youth workers, social policy researchers, or educators. This program provides opportunities in social services, education systems, and non-profit organizations focused on youth empowerment and development.
