Economics (English) UOLP

About

The Bachelor of Science in Economics (English) UOLP is an international dual-degree program offered by Istanbul Technical University and International University of Sarajevo. In this program, students complete part of their studies in Sarajevo and the remaining years at ITU in Istanbul. The curriculum teaches how markets work, how people make economic decisions and how governments design policies. Students learn core topics such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, statistics and economic modeling. They also explore applied fields like development, finance, energy, environment and global economics. This combination helps students understand how economies grow and how real-world problems can be analysed with economic tools.

Studying in two different countries gives students both academic and cultural advantages. They learn to work in international environments, communicate in English and understand economic issues from different perspectives. The program includes practical exercises, data-driven projects and teamwork activities that strengthen research and analytical skills. ITU’s strong academic background and IUS’s international setting together offer a unique learning experience. Students graduate with two diplomas, giving them strong opportunities for global careers or advanced education.
