Spanish higher education is delivered mainly by public universities, but responsibility for them sits with the autonomous regions, so admission procedures, fees and term dates differ from one part of the country to another. Most bachelor's teaching is in Spanish, while English-taught master's degrees have expanded and are now the usual route for international students; in Catalonia, Catalan is used alongside Spanish.
Our catalogue covers 30 Spanish universities — a selection of those EduRank ranks nationally — each carrying a research ranking, with 279 programmes between them. The list below follows EduRank's world rank, though region and language of instruction can matter as much as position; each entry shows its acceptance rate where known and a programme count to compare on.
