The Turkish Logistics Research and Education Foundation, founder of both the Beykoz Vocational School and Beykoz University, was established to conduct qualified research in the logistics sector, to release publications, and to contribute to the professional development of sector employees.

Currently, Beykoz University operates in 5 premises, all of them located in the green Istanbul district of Beykoz.

Education & Research

Beykoz University embraces a unique educational model based on experience-based learning, individual guidance and counselling, and advanced technology proficiency.

The departments emphasise active learning and real-life experiences, integrating mandatory internships across programs. Each student is supported throughout their academic journey with courses and workshops to develop soft skills and achieve a well-rounded education. The university also equips students with digital literacy skills and fosters a culture of innovation.

To encourage high-quality scientific research, Beykoz University provides opportunities for financial aid, national and international collaboration, and R&D awards. The university sets strategic goals to boost competitiveness by identifying priority research areas. It operates four research and application centres: Centre for Logistics Applications and Research, Semiotics Application and Research Centre, Distance Learning Research and Application Centre, and Lifelong Learning Research and Application Centre.

Career

Beykoz University has a Career Centre Directorate, which provides students with individual guidance, counselling, and support to reach their career goals. The centre organises events that connect students, graduates, and industry professionals, fostering strong networks. Through internships, conferences, career days, and sector fairs, students gain close exposure to business life and are prepared for the professional world before graduation.

The university also applies the ‘7+1’ educational model, where undergraduates spend one semester of their 8-semester programme doing an internship, gaining hands-on experience before they graduate.

According to university data, approximately 80% of Beykoz University graduates find a job in their first year after graduation.
