Established in 1829 courtesy of a generous donation from William Chalmers, the then-Director of the Swedish East India Company, Chalmers has a longstanding history. A forward-thinking visionary, Chalmers inspired the organization's enduring motto, "Avancez!" His forward-looking optimism continues to resonate in our present-day ethos.

Education

Established in 1829 as per the bequest of William Chalmers, the Chalmers University of Technology consistently secures its spot among the globe's top 100 engineering institutes. Rooted in advanced research, its academe focuses on specialareas of strength, attracting over a third of international learners in its Master's Programmes.
